What is a subscription and why do I need one?

A subscription is a paid plan that unlocks the full feature set for cameras: cloud archive, event log, video downloads, and push notifications. Without a subscription, a camera operates in Live View mode only.

What subscription plans are available?

Two plan types are available — Base and PRO — with identical app features. The only difference is archive depth: Base stores 7 days of event-based and 1 day of continuous recording, PRO — 30 days of event-based and 7 days of continuous. Each plan is available for 1 to 32 cameras.

What is a slot and how does it work?

A slot is a place for one camera inside a subscription. A subscription for N cameras contains N slots, to which any cameras from your account can be attached. A free slot does not reduce the subscription cost — the price is determined by the chosen plan, not by the number of attached cameras.

How do I attach a camera to a subscription?

After successfully adding a camera, the app automatically prompts you to choose a subscription plan and attach the camera to a free slot. You can also manually attach a camera to a subscription at any time through the camera settings.

Can I move cameras between subscriptions?

Yes, you can detach a camera from one subscription and attach it to another at any time. The saved archive is not deleted — when the camera returns to a subscription, the previous recordings become accessible again. However, no archive accumulates while the camera is unattached, and that gap will be missing.

What if there are no free slots when adding a camera?

If all slots in your subscription are taken when adding a new camera, the app will immediately offer to upgrade to a plan with more cameras directly within the add-camera flow. After confirming the upgrade, the new camera is automatically attached to the newly available slot.

What happens to the archive when the recording mode is changed?

When the recording mode is changed, the archive is trimmed to the new mode's limit — anything beyond the new limit is permanently deleted. Before changing the mode, make sure to download any important recordings, as they cannot be recovered afterwards.

How does auto-renewal work and is there a free trial?

When a subscription type is activated for the first time, a free 7-day trial period is automatically provided — with no charges. If the subscription is not cancelled before the trial ends, the chosen plan is activated and the regular billing cycle begins.

What happens if a payment fails?

If a payment fails, you'll receive a push notification immediately. The service continues to operate fully during a 3-day grace period, during which the system sends additional reminders. If the issue is not resolved within 3 days, the subscription is automatically cancelled and all cameras lose functionality except Live View.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscription cancellation is done through your phone's system settings (Google Play or App Store), not within the app itself. After cancellation, cameras lose functionality except for Live View, but the archive is preserved — if you restore the subscription, previous recordings become accessible again.
