A subscription is a paid plan that unlocks the full functionality of the IVA Cloud platform for your cameras: Live View, cloud archive of recordings, event log, and video downloads.
Every camera in the system must be attached to an active subscription to access these features. Without a subscription, the camera remains in your account but operates in Live View mode only — no recordings, no event history, no downloads.
This model lets you pay only for the actual value — cloud storage and video management — and gives you flexibility in choosing which cameras and what level of service are connected to the system. A subscription is not tied to a specific device: cameras within it can be changed, moved, or temporarily detached without altering the plan itself.
