A slot is a place for a single camera inside a subscription. If you purchase a subscription for N cameras, you receive N slots to which any cameras from your account can be attached.
For example, a Base 4-camera subscription contains 4 slots. You decide which 4 cameras from your account to attach to those slots. At any time, a camera can be detached and replaced with another — the slot will transfer to the new camera.
The app always displays the number of used and free slots for each subscription, so you can see the current state of your system in a single interface.
⚠️ Important. A free slot does not change the cost of the subscription. If you detach a camera and the slot is left empty — you pay exactly the same amount as before. The subscription price is determined by the chosen plan, not by the number of cameras actually attached.
This model provides flexibility: you can purchase a subscription with extra slots in advance — and attach cameras as they are installed on site, without having to set up a new subscription every time a camera is added.
