You can attach a camera to a subscription in two ways — automatically when adding a new camera, or manually at any time through the settings.
Automatic attachment when adding a camera. After successfully adding a new camera, the app immediately prompts you to choose a subscription plan and attach the camera to a free slot. This is the fastest path — the subscription is activated and the camera starts operating with full functionality without any additional steps.
Manual attachment via settings. If a camera is already added to the system (for example, it was operating in Live View mode without a subscription) — it can be attached to any subscription with a free slot through that camera's settings in the app.
⚠️ Important about the archive. As soon as a camera is attached to an active subscription, it immediately gains full access to all plan features (Live View, archive, events, downloads). However, the archive starts accumulating from scratch from the moment of attachment. There will be no recordings from the period before attachment.
This means that if you plan to use the cloud archive feature — it is best to attach the camera to a subscription immediately after installation, rather than postponing activation.
