If all slots in your subscription are already taken when you add a new camera, the app won't force you to exit the flow and configure the subscription separately. Instead, it will immediately offer to increase the number of slots directly within the add-camera process.
How it works:
- You start adding a new camera — and the app detects that there are no free slots.
- Within the same process, the app displays available plans with more cameras.
- You choose a new plan and confirm the upgrade.
- Once the upgrade is activated, the new camera is automatically attached to the newly available slot.
There is no need to exit the flow and update the subscription separately — everything happens within a single scenario.
How the upgrade cost is calculated. The cost of upgrading to a larger plan is calculated according to the standard rules of the platform through which the subscription was set up — Google Play or App Store. Typically, when upgrading mid-cycle, you receive a credit for the remaining period and are immediately charged for the new plan. However, the exact calculation logic depends on the platform and may vary — full details are always shown in the confirmation dialog before any charge is made.
