What is IVA Cloud, and how does the transition to the cloud work?

IVA Cloud is a cloud video surveillance platform (VSaaS) that moves existing surveillance systems to the cloud without replacing cameras. The transition is handled by the IVA Edge device, which connects to the local network and transmits video to the secure U-PROX server.

Do I need to replace my cameras to move to the cloud?

No. IVA Cloud works with already installed IP cameras from most leading manufacturers via RTSP and ONVIF protocols. No equipment replacement is required — the IVA Edge device connects to your existing local camera network.

Which cameras are compatible with IVA Cloud?

IVA Cloud supports most popular IP cameras from leading manufacturers via RTSP and ONVIF protocols. The current list of compatible equipment and supported protocols is available at iva.u-prox.systems.

How many cameras can be connected to one IVA Edge?

Up to 8 cameras can be connected to a single IVA Edge device. The total video stream throughput must not exceed 100 Mbit/s — this is the combined bitrate of all connected cameras.

How is IVA Cloud video data protected?

IVA Cloud provides multi-layer data protection: video streams are encrypted directly within the local network before transmission, stored on the U-PROX server in encrypted form, and accessible exclusively to authorised users via the mobile application.

What are the power supply requirements for IVA Edge?

To power the IVA Edge, use only an adapter with 5V voltage and at least 2A current via the USB-C connector. A certified 5V / 3A power adapter is included in the package.

What is the video stream throughput of IVA Edge?

The IVA Edge device supports a total video stream throughput of up to 100 Mbit/s — the combined bitrate of all connected cameras. Network connection is provided via a Gigabit Ethernet port.

IVA Edge operating conditions

The IVA Edge device is designed to operate at temperatures from 0°C to +60°C and humidity up to 75%. Environmental class — II (according to EN 50131-1), which implies indoor installation in heated premises.

What is included in the IVA Edge package?

The IVA Edge package includes the device itself, a power adapter with USB-C cable (5V / 3A), an Ethernet cable, a user manual, and a quick start guide — everything you need to get started right out of the box.

What is the warranty period for IVA Edge?

The warranty period for the IVA Edge device is 10 years from the date of sale (excluding power supply components). In case of malfunction, please contact our support team — most issues can be resolved remotely.
