Video data security is one of the core principles of the IVA Cloud platform. Protection is implemented at three levels: during transmission, during storage, and at the access level.
Encryption during transmission. The IVA Edge device encrypts video streams from IP cameras directly within your local network — before the data leaves the site. This means that even if the traffic is intercepted, the video content remains inaccessible to third parties.
Encrypted storage. All recordings are stored on the secure U-PROX server in encrypted form. Unlike local DVR/NVR systems, where access to the hard drive is physically open, in the cloud model data is protected independently of the on-site equipment.
Controlled access. Viewing of video, archive, and events is available exclusively to authorised users through the U-PROX IVA mobile application. You retain full control over who has access to your site's cameras.
This architecture eliminates the typical risks of traditional systems — data loss together with a damaged or stolen recorder, unauthorised physical access to the archive, and lack of control over who views the footage.
