What happens if a payment fails?

If a regular subscription payment fails — for example, due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or temporary bank restrictions — the system does not disable the service immediately. You are given a grace period during which you can resolve the issue without losing access.

What happens step by step:

  1. Instant notification. Immediately after a failed charge attempt, you receive a push notification about the payment issue.
  2. Grace period — 3 days. During these 3 days the service continues to work in full — cameras keep recording, archive is accessible, events are logged. You receive additional reminders to update your payment details.
  3. Automatic cancellation. If the issue is not resolved within 3 days, the subscription is automatically cancelled. All cameras attached to this subscription lose functionality and switch to Live View mode.

How to resolve the issue:

  • check your card balance and expiry date;
  • update your payment details in your phone's system settings (Google Play or App Store);
  • once updated, the system will automatically retry the charge.

⚠️ Important about the archive. The archive accumulated before cancellation is not deleted. If you restore the subscription later, previous recordings will become accessible again — within the plan's depth. However, no new recordings accumulate between cancellation and restoration, so a gap will appear in the archive.
