Every camera in the IVA Cloud system must be attached to an active subscription to access the full platform functionality. Without a subscription, the camera remains in your account but operates in a limited mode.
Available without an active subscription:
- real-time video viewing (Live View);
- display of the camera in your account's device list;
- the ability to attach the camera to a subscription at any time.
Requires an active subscription:
- cloud archive of recordings;
- event log (motion detection, alarms, etc.);
- downloading video clips to your device;
- push notifications about events.
This model lets you add a camera to the system immediately after purchasing the device and test live viewing first, then activate the subscription when you actually need it. Additionally, when activating a subscription type for the first time, a free 7-day trial is automatically provided — allowing you to evaluate the full platform functionality without payment.
